  1. Introduction
  • The promoter of the competition is Thokoman Foods (Pty) Ltd, hereafter referred to as “the Promoter.”
  • The promotional competition is open to all permanent South African residents and citizens in possession of a valid form of identification (ID document, Passport, or valid Driver’s License) and who are over the age of 18 years.
  • The promotion commences on 27 December 2025 and ends at midnight on 31 January 2026. No late entries will be accepted.
  • The Grand Prize Draw will take place on 4 February 2026.

  1. Terms & Conditions
  • By participating, entrants agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  • Directors, employees, agents, or consultants of Thokoman Foods, their immediate family members, life partners, business partners, or suppliers associated with this promotion are ineligible to participate.
  • Privacy & POPIA: Thokoman will process your personal information to validate entries, award prizes, and announce winners. By entering, you consent to the processing of your data in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
  1. How to Enter
  1. Purchase any 400g or 1kg Thokoman Peanut Butter product at participating inland (Gauteng, Free State & Mpumalanga) Pick n Pay or Spar retailers.
  2. Scan the QR code located on the back of the tub.
  3. Follow the digital prompts to complete your entry.
  4. Note: Participants may submit multiple entries; however, there is a limit of one (1) prize per person for the duration of the promotion.
  1. Prize Breakdown

Grand Prize (1 Winner)

  • R25,000 towards School Fees.
  • The prize will be paid directly to the winner’s nominated school or educational institution via EFT. 
  • Note: This prize is non-transferable and must be utilized for educational fees as intended.
  • The winner must provide a valid ID and proof of the school’s banking details.

Weekly Prizes (5 Winners)

  • Five (5) weekly winners will each receive a R1,500 Store Cash Voucher.
  • One winner will be drawn each week for five weeks.
  • Weekly winners will be contacted via WhatsApp or direct message.
  • Participants are limited to one (1) weekly prize win, but remain eligible for the Grand Prize draw; once the Grand Prize is won, that participant is ineligible for any further prizes.
  1. General Rules & Disqualifications
  • If a winner does not claim their prize or provide required documentation within 24 hours of notification, the prize will be forfeited and a runner-up will be drawn.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry if fraud or cheating is suspected.
  • If a prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute it with one of equal value.
  • The Promoter’s decision is final; no correspondence will be entered into.
  1. Publicity & Liability
  • The Promoter reserves the right to use images taken of winners for publicity purposes without remuneration. Participants may object in writing to the address in Section 7.
  • The Promoter and its agencies accept no liability for any loss or damage resulting from participation.
  • This competition is not affiliated with Facebook or Instagram.
